We are a cultural and educative organization dedicated to the promotion of the Latin music throughout percussion lessons, workshops, bootcamps, festivals and more. Our aim is to teach children, youth and adults to discover their artistic potential.
They are composers, percussionists, percussion teachers and music directors. Percussion teachers at the conservatory of Rotterdam & Amsterdam and Pop School of Amsterdam.
Throughout our course you will prepare yourself for learning a specific instrument
Are an Afro-Cuban percussion instrument consisting of a pair of small open bottomed drums of different sizes.
Are shallow single-headed drums with metal casing. They are shallower than single-headed tom-toms, and usually tuned much higher, especially for their size.
Also known as tumbadora, is a tall, narrow, single-headed drum from Cuba.
A pair of cylindrical hardwood sticks, one of which is held in the player's fingertips over the cupped hand (a resonator). When struck together they produce a sharp ringing sound.
instrument consisting of an open-ended, hollow gourd with parallel notches cut in one side. It is played by rubbing a stick or tines along the notches to produce a ratchet sound.
Also known as rumba shakers, are a hand percussion instrument usually played in pairs and common in Caribbean, Latin American, and South American music.
The lessons are taking place from April at QFactory Amsterdam. From September at Musicon Muziek center in Den Haag and at Studio Friekandel in Rotterdam.
